Heritage Fuels & Lubricants is the company that focuses exclusively on the global licensing and retail opportunities surrounding the heritage Shell branding for fuels and lubricants.

Heritage Fuels & Lubricants is a direct marketer of Shell “Classic” X-100 Motor Oils supplying the product to Classic Car workshops, high quality distributors, and available online to the public. This brand of oils was (re)launched at the Goodwood Revival in 2015 and already has a global footprint that extends throughout the United Kingdom, USA, Europe and Australia, and with Africa and Asia to follow in 2016.



David joined Heritage Fuels & Lubricants after a successful 28 year career at Shell. During this time he worked in over 120 countries for the Shell Downstream in a variety of senior roles in the Downstream, Portfolio, and Retail.

David’s father (Tony Holden) first starting the family connection to Shell when he joined the company in the late fifties. So it is with huge personal satisfaction that David now returns to work with the brands that were all around him as he was growing up.


Krishna joined Heritage Fuels & Lubricants after working for twelve years as the Communications and Media Relations Lead for IBM in South Africa.  Previous to IBM, Krishna was a senior member of the Media and Marketing team for Phakisa Sports, the organisation responsible for hosting the International Motorcycle Grand Prix at the Phakisa Raceway during the period 1999 - 2001.

Murray joined Heritage Fuels & Lubricants after a successful 25 year career in Shell.  During this time he held a number of senior roles leading technical teams engaged in product innovation, development & deployment for Downstream Marketing businesses.  He leads our objective to use appropriate, current technologies to create heritage-branded products that customers will value.
